Over the past few months, I’ve been exploring different subjects – Couples – being my main focus!  My heart has always been stirred with children but I have also felt my soul sing when photographing couples.  My vision of adding Beloved Grace to Dear Grace has always been in my plans and I’m excited that I am finally at a place where I can dance in this direction!  Oh, I’m dancing! I’m ready to tell this side of the story!  The side that magnifies love.  In some cases, the beginning of adding new family members.  Or just the adventure of a couple starting life together.

As a mother of two, celebrating 8 years of marriage, I’ve come to realize that marriage is work!  I love the journey of growth.  Each year brings change.  You discover new things about each other.  Sometimes in the midst of chaos, I can look at my husbands eyes and remember…remember what life was when it was just the two of us.  It wasn’t better.  It was sweet.  But life is sweeter.  I want to always be reminded of our love.  I want my kids to be grossed out by the mush we share in their presence.  This, my sweet kids, is love!  Marriage is beautiful. It’s a deep covenant that points us to Christ, HIS love for HIS BRIDE.

My lovely sister and brother-in-law celebrated 7 years of marriage.  They were my first story I had the honor of shooting.  Beloved Grace is about capturing love in a timeless and modern way.  It’s about sharing what life is like whether it be the 1st year of marriage or the 10th.  It’s easy to look at our rituals and think there’s nothing special about our lives.  BUT there is!  There is beauty in marriage –  from running errands to maintaining your garden. There is always magic!  I’m excited to have been able to capture the love of these two!  I’m glad that you can say, “Life is anything but ordinary!”  I’m glad that I could be a part of sharing and celebrating your love!
