Be still my soul – I haven’t had a moment to BE STILL – not just still for myself but still before the Lord. I’m glad Dear Grace is my love letter to my children because it allows me to leave REAL moments for them that I have had to endure. These moments allow me to grasp who I am in the Lord.
This past week, I made it a point to take a few minutes of my day to enjoy the creation that I so love. I needed time alone to hear the Lord whisper to me. This past week, I made time to sit under the trees and watch the sun light bathe them – showing off their leaves. I made time to feel the grass on my toes and breathe in the fresh air. I also made time to throw rocks in the pond behind my house and watch the ripples expand. I made time to watch the sky turn colors as the sun set and welcomed the stars. I made time to sit under the stars. Be Still my soul!
Lord, thank you for the way you whisper to us!
After waking up to 16 degrees here in Colorado, I am ealous of the warm weather and bare feet!
