A few weeks ago, you decided that it was time to cut your hair. We had some pretty tough battles with getting your hair done some mornings. You’ve become so independent these days. One day, you mentioned to me that you thought it might be best to get your hair cut short. You said, “Mommy, I think if my hair is shorter I will be able to brush it on my own. I’d still like some bangs too.” So I set an appointment…just the two of us. I was so excited for you. This was your first time at a full service salon. I didn’t bring my camera because I really wanted to soak in that moment. So here you are, my love. You look marvelous. You made a great choice and you are brushing your hair all on your own. Oh my heart…Stop getting big!
Beautiful cut and beautiful girl!
Thank you so much!
She is precious! Love how you captured this milestone. Her pose says it all – still little, but so grown up 🙂
I know, right?! She’s so stinking cute! Thank you!
Aww…bittersweet, isn’t it? I love the new haircut. Wishing my daughter would get hers cut – always a struggle trying to brush it.
very bittersweet! I know the feeling! Good luck with your daughter!
So sweet, what a wonderful way to remember her new independence! I love her hat. Of course, now she is not supposed to get any more independent or grown up, right? *wink wink*
