The sweet child’s book Love You Forever by Robert Munsch has never rang so true about my baby. “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, As long as I’m living my baby you‘ll be.” I’m beginning to see milestones approaching. And although they make me so proud to see my sweet boy grow, it also causes just a little sadness. Where does the time go?
Lately, I’ve been enjoying the sight of my baby, Caiden, running around in a diaper. He’s my little diaper baby. He’s exploring the potty but isn’t fully committed to give up a diaper just yet. I’ve never felt less rushed about it either. The longer he stays in a diaper, the longer I feel I have a baby in my home.
Of course, I can’t help but keep my camera close by for special little moments like these. I know there are many moms that can relate. Our babies are growing up! It’s so important to document these moments. I know I’ll cherish these images forever. Time is fleeting. Our babies don’t stay little forever. Therefore, I’ll keep running to grab my camera to never forget, to always relive the moments, and to remember the love that I felt.
Dear Caiden Eli,
I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, As long as I’m living my baby you’ll be.
Love Always,
Mama

Love this post- there’s nothing like the love a mom feels for her child 🙂
