Dear Caiden,
This year in February, you turned five! It feels like a complete blur as we have had quite the eventful months with you being under the weather. Now that things are finally settling down, I am able to sit and really soak it all in. I kept thinking about how I wanted to capture you for your fifth birthday. Sure, I could have dressed you in adorable attire and put you in a field to then capture a not so happy little one. But I knew that being in your element (home) would allow me to see YOU. You have such a wild imagination. You constantly put a smile on our faces with your little antics. I’m so incredibly in love with who you are becoming. You teach me big lessons, love.
You are little but you have a BIG faith. You love to pray for your sister all the time. You care for others when they aren’t feeling well. You go out of your way to sing The Lord’s Prayer to family members when they are sick. You have a big heart, little one. I know that you will move mountains.
So here is what I was able to soak in: A little boy completely focused on playing. I captured you playing with your favorite toys. I captured your curiosity, your silliness, and finally a little bit of seriousness. Our family says you are a little angry ant (Ormigita Brava) or an old soul. Lol. You would probably tell the neighbor to get off your grass because you flip from happy to feisty in a matter of minutes but I love you none the less! LOL.
I love you to the moon and back!
Momma
